2 Timothy 3:13-17
1. What is your story? Who in your life taught you about about Jesus and who has taught you the most about scripture? (2 Timothy 3:14)
2. Research shows there is a serious lack of Biblical understanding in our country, even in our churches. (Check out this link for some of the Current research https://thestateoftheology.com/ ) 2 Timothy 3:15 points out the importance of teaching God’s word to the next generation. How are you training up the next generation (your kids/grandkids/teacher/coach/youth group/children’s church/KHM) in God’s word?
3. Pastor noted that the purpose of the lighting rod is to “take the hit to protect the barn.” How can we “take the hit” to Protect our families? Our community? Our church?
4. Pastor made the Statement “ you don’t have to clean yourself up to come to God, but after you are forgiven its time to clean yourself up.” How do we stop sinning? What are some strategies to help us stop sinning? What are the good things we should be doing? (James 4:17).
